The Western Sahara is a territory of Africa, placed in the western end of the desert of the Sahara. It(he,she) is in the list of not autonomous territories of the United Nations, which process of decolonization was interrupted by the abandon of the territory by his(her,your) former colonial power, Spain, in 1976, which(who) left the territory in hands of Morocco and Mauritania, after signing with them the Agreements of Madrid.
